Police FC head coach Abdallah Mubiru claims that their main target is to register their maiden victory in the second round of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League as they are preparing to take on Tooro United.
The Cops will lock horn with Tooro United at MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo on Tuesday March 1.
According to the soft-spoken tactician, his charges are ready to battle off with an improved Tooro United side in order to collect three points.
“We are done with our last training, ready to battle with Tooro United,” Mubiru said before adding.
“It is going to be a very competitive game because this second round they have produced some good results and of course their form is good.”
“We are more focused and determined because we are very well know that we are not safe yet.”
“We haven’t won any game in the second round, we have managed two draws and a loss. So, we are looking forward towards winning our first game of the second round,” he added.
Police FC enter this game on the back of registering two draws against UPDF FC and Soltilo Bright Stars respectively.
On the same note, Tooro United drew their previous two games against Express FC and SC Villa.
In the five previous meetings between the two sides, Tooro United have managed three wins while Police have won twice.
