Express FC interim coach James Odoch is a happy man after registering his first victory at the club.
Express FC picked up their first league win in as many games when they beat Police FC 2-1 on Tuesday evening at the Muteesa II stadium Wankulukuku.
Forward George Senkaaba and an own goal by Kiryowa George ensured the win for the defending league champions while veteran midfielder Tonny Mawejje scored for the visitors.
“Firstly I am happy we’ve finally won, it had taken us a while (eight games) but we’ve finally come through,” Odoch said after the game before adding.
“We’ve been planning for it and we won’t stop, we shall re group and prepare for our next game against S.C Villa because we want to keep the winning touch on,” he added.
The win means Interim head coach registers his first win at the club but also took the Red Eagles to 36 points after 23 games played in the league but stay sixth on the log.
Express’ next game will be agains their arch rivals SC Villa on Saturday 9th April.
