SUPL: Onduparaka castigate Express FC at Wankulukuku

Onduparaka FC ended Express FC’s three games winning streak by registering a 2-0 win on Friday evening.

Muhammad Shaban scored Onduparaka’s both goals on the day at Betway Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.

Onduparaka FC went ahead as earlier as the third minute of the game courtesy of Muhammad Shaban’s strike.

Erick Kambale had a shot from outside the area in the 28th minute but it went over the bar.

Kambale was at it again in the added minutes of the first half as he forced Mathias Muwanga into a fine save.

Shaban doubled Onduparaka’s lead in the 50th minute of the game with a beautiful finish following a fantastic assist from Oketch.

In the 70th minute, there was brilliant individual play from Express FC’s Enock Ssebagaala but his effort was cleared off the line.

Onduparaka FC acting coach Dudu Bosco was shown a Red Card by Refree Mashmood Ssali in the 78th minute for protesting on multiple fouls made on Shaban and ignored.

Kambale had a low shot in the 83rd minute of the game but it couldn’t beat Mathias Muwanga.

The win left Onduparaka FC eighth on the log with 33 points from 25 games played so far while Express FC is now sixth with 42 points from 26 games played.

Elsewhere, URA FC won 2-0 against Police FC courtesy of Cromwell Rwothomio and Shafik Kagimu’s strikes.
