Vianne Ssekajugo was a man of the day after scoring four goals during URA FC’s 5-0 dominant win against Wakiso Giants.
Ssekajugo penalized his former bosses in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League game played at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium on Tuesday before Kabon Living scored the other goal.
URA FC went in the driving seat in the in the third minute of the game with an early goal from the former Wakiso Giants player Vianne Ssekajugo who calmly put the ball in the back of the net.
Ssekajugo made it 2-0 in the 42nd minute when he smashed the ball to the top roof from close range to register his second goal.
He then made it 3-0 in the 62nd minute to complete his hat-trick which consolidated URA FC’s lead.
Things went from bad to worse for Wakiso when they were reduced to 10 men in the 70th minute when George Kaddu got marching orders after getting a second yellow card.
Ssekajugo scored his fourth goal of the when he jumped high to head in Saidi’s corner kick in the 81st minute of the game to make it 4-0.
Kabon Living sealed with the fifth goal for URA FC in the 90th minute of the game.
The win left URA FC third on the table with 34 points while Wakiso Giants remained seventh with 27 points.
Elsewhere, Yasin Mugume and Juma Balinya scored for either sides as Soltilo Bright Stars settled for a one-all stalemate with Police FC at Kavumba Recreation Center.
Police FC remained 10th on the table with 18 points while Bright Stars is now 14th with 16 points.
