SUPL: Vipers targets 10th consecutive victory as they take on SC Villa

Vipers SC will be looking for a 10th successive StarTimes Uganda Premier League victory when they visit SC Villa at Fufa Technical Center in Njeru on Saturday.

The last time the Venoms failed to pick maximum points was in February, drawing with UPDF FC.

This a streak that has seen Coach Roberto Oliviera’s side clinch the league title with four matches to spare.

The first round clash at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende ended 3-0 with goals from Yunus Sentamu and a brace from Cesar Manzoki.

Overall, it’s going to be the 33rd meeting between Vipers SC and SC Villa in the league with the Venoms commanding a lion’s share statistically.

The Venoms registered 14 Wins, 11 draws and seven losses in the previous 32 meetings.

Vipers will be without Ibrahim Orit, Fabien Mutombora and Fabien Mutombora who are injured while Disan Galiwango is suspended.

Vipers enter this game with 67 points on the top of the table while SC Villa is 12th with 29 points.
