Wakiso Giants FC will be looking to return to winning ways when they host BUL FC at Kabaka Kyabaggu on Tuesday.
The Purple Sharks are desperate to start the New Year on a winning note after failing to win their previous game against URA FC.
With their last home game ending in a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Arua Hill, a win will be the only result targeted by Wakiso Giants on Tuesday afternoon.
According to Wakiso Giants FC head coach Alex Gitta, BUL will give them a hard time but they are ready to pick maximum points given that they are playing in front of their fans.
“We expect a tough game against a very good team on form,” Alex Gitta said before adding. “We missed a number of players in our last two games especially in the attacking areas and we hope their return gives us edge.”
“To achieve our target of the first round, we must win and will do all possibles to get maximum points especially playing in front of our home fans,” he added.
Hassan Wasswa Dazo was injured in the 1-1 draw with URA and will miss out, Fahad Kawooya is fit to play after missing several games through injury while Ivan Bogere, Shariph Kimbowa and Frank Ssebuufu are back and could feature for Wakiso Giants.
Meanwhile, BUL FC enter this game on the back of a 4-0 win against Arua Hill giving them courage to aim for another win against Wakiso Giants on Tuesday.
