Vipers SC head coach Robertinho Oliviera claims that his charges will be eyeing maximum points as they take on Soltilo Bright Stars FC.
The two sides will lock horns at St. Mary Stadium, Kitende on Wednesday in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League clash as Vipers SC aims at maintaining top spot.
Vipers enter this game knowing very well that they have a chance to open a four-point gap at the top of the standings over second-placed KCCA FC.
“We have prepared well for the match. And l know the opponent having played him twice but we are going out to fight for three points,” Robertinho said.
When the two sides met at Kavumba Recreation Grounds in the first round of the league, Vipers SC won 1-0 courtesy of Yunus Sentamu’s strike.
Soltilo Bright Stars has never beaten Vipers in a competitive fixture hence will be looking for their first ever win over the four time champions.
Cesar Manzoki is back in the squad after sitting out the 3-1 win over Kalongo United FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup with minor knocks.
Meanwhile, the fixture comes too early for midfielders Bright Anukani and Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye who have just recovered from hamstring injuries.
