URA head coach Sam Timbe has called upon his charges not to give room to complacency ahead of the clash against Bright Stars FC.
Solitilo Bright Stars will host the tax collectors in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League at Kavumba Recreational Grounds on Tuesday, February 1, 2021.
“We can not afford complacency going into the game,” Timbe told URA Media before adding.
“The performance was good in Zombo most importantly and we need to carry this into the league. It has to start against our opponent on Tuesday.”
“It is important that we approach the game with this good mindset. We won our previous game in the Uganda Cup convincingly and I hope we build from that.”
URA registered a 4-0 win against Yumbe’s Total FC in the Uganda Cup in their last outing. They will seek to keep the winning wins on the consecutive away game.
On the other hand, Bright Stars will play their first game under the helm of coach Paul Kiwanuka who rejoined the club recently.
“We’ve had six days of preparations for this game. But all in all, we are prepared and the boys are ready to fight for all points because the position is no that we want,” he revealed.
Team News:
Benjamin Nyakojo is still in the sickbay due to a right addictor as well as Steven Mpoza who is nursing a left rectus femoris strain.
Bright Stars will play the Tax Collectors without players such as Emmanuel Loki, Andrew Kyambadde and Warren Bule who are treating injuries.
URA lie in the seventh position with 22 points while Bright Stars sit 14th on the 16-teamed log with 11 points.
