Transfers: Jinja North United signs duo

Jinka North United has announced the acquisition of two players in left-back, and the Dickson Outa and Peter Musoke on a five-year employment contract each.

The two players join the Jinja based side from MYDA and become the latest additions in the ongoing transfer window.

While speaking to the media, Musoke expressed readiness and commitment noting that he is ready to give out all he can to see that the club gets on the next level.

“I will give 100% on and off the pitch to see that the team gets promoted to the (FUFA) Big League,” Musoke revealed.

“I will not end at guiding Jinja North United to Big League only but we shall not rest till the club enters Uganda Premier League because I have achieved the mark with my previous sides.”

“I promise the coaches, fellow players and managers of this club that I will work hard and play with my heart to get good results that will take us to the next level,” he concluded.

On the other hand, his comrade Outa echoed the readiness but also promised to put in a shift to see Jinja North United succeed.

“I am excited to be a play of Jinja North United. As a player, I am ready to work hard under the guidance of my coaches and fellow players to push the team,” he said.

“I will put in all my strength and give the club all I can because I also want to improve as a player and I am confident this is the best environment,” he ended.

The duo joins their former gaffer Swamadu Musafiri and their maiden target will be gaining promotion to FUFA Big League.

They have so far played two games and won both though they sit third due to goal difference.

Jinja North United’s next game will be against Maroons in Uganda Cup on Monday January 24, 2022 at St. John Wakitaka Grounds, Jinja.
