Attacking midfielder Ibrahim Kasule has been confirmed at New York Red Bulls II.
Kasule switches from Wakiso Giants to join USA based side coached by former cranes captain Ibrahim Ssekagya.
He joins compatriot Frank Sebuffu with whom they played for the Purple Sharks.
Ssekagya noted on how Kasule’s immense talent will guide him straight into the team.
“His skills will see him go straight into the squad this season,” Ssekagya was quoted by the club’s official website.
“His success in Uganda at such a young age was the main factor as to why we decided to bring him in the team this season,” he added.
The move will rectify the earlier mess that saw Kasule join Turkish side Ankara Keciorengucu.
New York Red Bulls Sporting Director Denis Hamlett noted how the 18-year-old man carried the qualities of a player needed in the team.
“We are looking forward to adding a player like Kasule to the group,” Hamlett said before adding.
“He has all the qualities that we look for when deciding how to improve the current squad.” He concluded.
