Uganda Premier League side URA side is in final talks with Wakiso Giants midfielder cum defender Joshua Lubwama.
Lubwama’s contract is left with six months and the lanky midfielder is in search for a new experience away from the Purple Sharks.
The former BUL midfielder, lost a commanding starting place in the team since the coming in of coach John ‘Ayala’ Luyinda.
Ayala has created a new playing style that fancies free flowing game hence pushing Lubwama to a defensive role.
Joining URA means he will be a direct replacement of Shafic Kagimu who is reported to have moved away from the tax collectors’ camp.
URA FC have had a false start of the 2022/23 season. The lie in the 11th position with 14 points from 14 games played.
They have scored 15 goals and conceded 14 averaging a goal into their net in every single game played.
After the SUPL break, they return to action on Saturday February 11 as they visit to Green Light Stafium to take on URA FC.
