Ugandan forward, Edward Kizza is set to make his debut appearance in the prestigious Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League (SCCL) with Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit New England Revolution.
The 23-year-old agile forward will be hoping to hit the ground running in the SCCL, after extending for a further year with New England Revolution.
The Revolution proceeds to the round of 16 after draws confirmed on Wednesday night in Miami, Florida. The club will take on Haitian side Cavaly AS away between 15-17 February 2022, the return leg will be held between the 22-24 of February at the Gillete Stadium in Massachusetts.
Kizza’s Revolution joins MLS winners New York City FC, western conference leaders Colorado Rapids and Seattle Sounders and Candian champions Club de Foot Montreal in the SCCL
Revolution will be looking to cement their spot in the league on their debut appearance, the last USA side to win clinch the CONCACAF title is LA Galaxy in 2000.
Concacaf will announce a full schedule in the coming days, including kickoff times and further details.
