The reigning Uganda Premier League (UPL) champions Vipers SC have confirmed the signing of the Congolese duo in goalkeeper Alfred Macumu Mudekereze and Olivier Osomba.
The duo joins the Kitende-based side on a three-year employment contract ahead of the busy campaign.
“I feel happy, really happy to be here and to work in this great club and start doing my stuff on the pitch as soon as possible,” Mudekereza told Vipers SC Media.
“I am very ambitious, I come here to try to win everything, to try to win everything and try to push from the first minute and to make us better.”
“I want to win more. I come here to fight in all the competitions. We have many competitions ahead we’re going to fight for everything,” he concluded.
The 29-year-old custodian joins the Venoms after his three-year stay at consoles side Olympic Club Bukavu Dawa. He as well had five years at AS Vita before joining Bukavu.
The other player confirmed today is Osomba, a defensive midfielder who joins from Burundi’s Aigle Noir Makamba.
“I’m really happy and delighted to be here at Vipers SC. Its massive club and I promise to give my best,” Osomba opened up to Vipers SC Media.
Osomba adds competition in the midfield racing for a position in the middle park with Bobosi Byaruhanga, Marvin Youngman and Siraje Sentamu.
