We share similar vision and philosophy – Luyinda says on his unveiling as Wakiso Head Coach

Wakiso Giants have announced the appointment of John ‘Ayal’ Luyinda as head coach for the next two years.

While at the ceremony, the soft-spoken gaffer noted how much he and the club share similar vision and philosophy of the beautiful game.

“In our conversations, I found we share a similar vision and philosophy,” Luyinda told the press.

“It is a great honour and privilege to be appointed coach of this highly ambitious club and am ready for the huge challenge.”

“As a coach, I promise to work hard and develop a team that will be successful,” he concluded the vow.

On the other hand, Wakiso Giants Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sula Kamoga noted how much it took time for the team to access on who takes the managerial role of the Purple Sharks.

“The club has taken time to access Luyinda and we believe he has the necessary tools and skills that can help the team prosper and excel,” Kamoga said.

“We continue to commit as we have done to support him and the technical team in all ways.”

“We are impressed with the commitment and vision he has for the club despite being a young coach, he has enough experience to take the club to another level,” he concluded.

Luyinda will have a chance to be the head coach for the first time after being an assistant coach at KCCA FC and Police FC under George Nsimbe, Mike Mutebi and Abdallah Mubiru respectively.
