Ugandan Afro-pop artist Ykee Benda’s rendition of Racheal Magoola’s popular hit song obangaina from the early 2000s surely brings back all memories.
Obangaina released in the early years of this century by Afrigo Band’s Racheal Magoola become a radio hit and cemented its place in Uganda’s pop culture.
Magoola who is now a legislator for Bugweri District revealed in an interview on NBS Tv that she was indeed part of the process and also professed that she takes pride in the “young humble man” Ykee.
The rendition gives a different and improved sound owing to the technological improvements and all thanks to Kraizy Beats for improving the sound quality and not altering it.
